Join our Board as a Trustee / Director

TD1 Youth Hub supports young people in Galashiels and surrounding communities through trusted relationships, practical support and opportunities to learn and develop.

We are looking for new Trustees / Directors to help guide our next stage of development and ensure young people remain at the heart of our decisions.

We would particularly welcome people with experience in one or more of these areas:

👥 HR and organisational development: supporting good employment practice, staff wellbeing and a growing team.
💻 Digital, data and cyber security: helping us make effective and responsible use of technology.
🤝 Fundraising and business partnerships: building relationships, developing support and strengthening our future income.

We also welcome people who bring lived experience of youth services or an understanding of the challenges facing young people and families in our communities.

You do not need previous board experience. We are looking for people who share our values, bring their own perspective and can offer constructive challenge.

As a Trustee / Director, you will help set TD1’s direction, oversee our resources and support the charity’s long-term sustainability. You will need time to attend and prepare for board meetings and contribute between meetings where needed.

This is a voluntary role based in Galashiels.
