TD1 Youth Hub
Policies & Safeguarding
Young people should feel safe, respected and listened to. Our policies set out how TD1 protects people, handles information and responds to concerns.

Safeguarding comes first
TD1’s staff, volunteers and trustees have a responsibility to help protect children and young people from harm. You can speak to a youth worker if you are worried about yourself or someone else.
We will listen and take your concern seriously. Where information needs to be shared to help keep someone safe, we will explain what happens next as far as we can.
Raise a concern
For a safeguarding concern, contact TD1 on 01896 752442 or speak to a youth worker.
Chief Executive and operational Child Protection Officer: Douglas Ormston.

Help us get things right
If something has gone wrong, we want to hear about it. You can speak to a member of staff or contact the team and ask for your concern to be passed to the appropriate person.
Contact TD1 ↗Accessible information
Please contact us if you need a policy in a different format or would like help understanding it.
For a first enquiry, share only the information we need to get back to you. A youth worker can arrange an appropriate way to discuss anything sensitive.
